US visa interviews are conducted in English, so the questions and answers are in English.
From your report
- Give the context in one or two sentences and keep it factual. Don’t deny something that is public, and don’t delete it right before the interview — that can read as concealment.
- Connect it to the purpose on your application in one or two sentences. Your profiles and your DS-160 should tell the same story about where you live, work and what you plan to do.
- If it isn’t you, say so plainly and point to your own profile — it is on your DS-160 list. Don’t guess or explain someone else’s content. If it is you, make sure the details agree with your DS-160.
Questions H-1B applicants get
- Job title, duties and employer should match your petition — and your LinkedIn headline. A different title online is the most common inconsistency.
- The worksite on your petition. If your profiles show a different city, be ready to explain.
- Your work history should read the same on LinkedIn, your résumé and the DS-160.
- Since December 15, 2025, H-1B and H-4 applicants must keep profiles public during review. A locked account can delay the case.
- Every platform the DS-160 lists, every username, including old, inactive and deleted accounts. If one is missing, correct the form before the interview rather than explaining it at the window.

Will my report look like this?
Same sections, same layout. What's in it depends on your profiles: some reports have nothing to review, others have more items than this one. Before you pay anything you see your verdict and the title of every item.
What does the scan read?
Public information only: the profiles you enter (bio, profile details and the public posts each platform lets us read) and, if you leave it on, a web search for your name. Nothing behind a login, and we never ask for passwords. Your report shows how many profiles, posts and web sources were read, and notes any profile that couldn't be.
What happens to my data?
Your report, the profiles in it and your email are deleted 30 days after the scan. We don't post anything, contact anyone or share your report with any government. Details are in our privacy policy.
What if the report isn't useful to me?
Email hello@visasocialcheck.com within 7 days and we refund you in full, no questions asked.
